Easyspace is offering a special deal to customers on a budget looking to run their domains on dedicated servers.
The budget packages cost from £25.99 to £115.99 per month and offer unsold equipment still in the racks after an upgrade of the company’s dedicated servers.
Customers can pick from six specifications on either Linux or Windows operating systems with :
“We offer a number of high specification hosting solutions ranging in price from as little as £2.25 per month for our cheapest shared package,” said Easyspace managing director Errol Vanderhorst.
“Having said that we appreciate that some people may require a dedicated hosting package, and may not have the budget to fund it. The expanded budget dedicated server range addresses that segment.”
The company confirms budget dedicated servers are from unsold servers still in stock after improving specification on new dedicated servers that are ‘fit for purpose’, that are not wanted by other customers.
“We have various specifications of server racked up and ready to use and, since they don’t quite match up to our newest generation of dedicated server, we offer them at a lower cost. With that said, these are far from being low specification machines. They just aren’t as highly spec’d as our newer range,” said Vanderhorst.
The company web site also explains that budget dedicated servers are generally a year or two old mostly Dell products housed in one of Easyspace’s five owned UK data centres.
