Easyspace was formed in 1997 and is one of the first UK web hosting companies in the market place. Part of the Europe wide iomart Group, Easyspace has a strong sense of identity with a customer focused culture. The company says this fosters an excellent working environment that is reflected in excellent customer service. The company is one of the largest in Europe, handling up to 300,000 customers a day from five data centres at London, Glasgow, Nottingham, Maidenhead and Leicester.

Easyspace owns and manages its own web hosting infrastructure and backbone. Easyspace has a 99.9% uptime rating. The firm monitors their network, transit links and servers continually, that allows engineers to trace and fix any problems quickly.  This in-house process lets Easyspace maintain high uptime on all dedicated servers – the company does not comment on shared or virtual server uptime guarantees. Web sites are also backed up daily and have load balancing on all packages.

 		I found Easyspace much harder to use than other domains I have through 1&1. Easyspace refused to refund my money although I cancelled before the 2nd year service started. It cost me about £65 in leaving fees and a renewal I didn't want, just to get out of Easyspace. Would not recommend.1&1 continues to be much easier to use, and cheaper for the same thing. I have several sites with them.
